9-11 Remembrance Ceremony

Our Post

This past weekend VFW Post 5850 & Auxiliary attended the Mid Winter conference in Montgomery Alabama. This is a very informative conference for both the Veterans and Auxiliary. We were honored to have the National Commander & Chief, Al Lipphardt, in attendance. Each year the conference has a theme for the Saturday night banquet, and this year was the 50's. VFW Post 5850 & Auxiliary had 12 members attend the conference, this is amazing! As a group we decided to honor the 50's dressed as The Pink Ladies and T birds. This was a day for us to provide a Remembrance Ceremony for those who are not able to be with us. We set up downtown Eufaula and use the main gazebo to allow total access to the community to participate and sit in our ceremony with us.
