The Americanism Program is a program of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) that aims to promote patriotism and teach respect for the U.S. Flag. The program celebrates America’s Patriotic Days. It also educates children about the Federal Flag Code. The program brings attention to Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action by hosting POW/MIA ceremonies to both educate the public and honor these special veterans.
